Located on the border of Wall and Neptune Townships in southern Monmouth County, Shark River Park is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway or Routes 34 and 18. At 588 acres, it is one of the mid-size parks within the Monmouth County Park System. In addition to cycling, Shark River offers opportunities for fishing and hiking, and it includes a playground and a fitness trail.
Though not as well known as other Monmouth County destinations such as Hartshorne or Huber Woods, this park offers trails that are best suited for novice to moderately skilled riders.
