The 220-foot monument that crowns the highest point in New Jersey (1,803 feet above sea level) is included in this ride through High Point State Park, which offers excellent tri-state views. To the north lie the Catskill Mountains of New York; to the west, the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Much of the woodland visible to the south is part of Stokes State Forest, which can be reached via the Parker Trail (refer to the trail maps for High Point and Stokes for the connecting route).
