Ringing Rocks

Ringing Rocks Park is one of Buck’s County’s more unusual attractions. A short foot trail from the parking area leads to an imposing sight: an 8-acre field of large boulders piled several deep. Many of these boulders ring like bells when struck with a hammer. You might wonder how anyone ever discovered this, but the ones that ring best are easy to find now because they’re marked with worn spots from many hammer blows.
