This route includes two different types of countryside. West of Route 611, a large area of open farmland is mostly flat with a few steep hills. On the east side of 611, the landscape is wooded and quite hilly throughout. ...
The Frankenfield Covered bridge is just off the route but clearly visible when you reach the bottom of the steep hill on Caffery Road. The bridge, built in 1872, makes a pleasant place to stop for a break.
